You make plans, you do. But they seldom materialise. What really happened after I left school is that I took the train downtown and bought empty DVD:s in Anttila. I bought others in Tallinn, but my cheerful DVD recorder refuses to handle them. It does like that quite often when I try a new brand. The one I bought today, for instance, didn't work until I tried it the tenth time or so. Very disturbing. What is the point in home technology when it doesn't work?
I passed Alepa as well and bought milk, meat and dry pasta - the cheap kind which would make my Italian friends' mind go pop with sheer frustration.
Then Asko passed by and we copied Viisut 80 to DVD, the Finnish preselection for Eurovision and Intervision. All songs for Eurovision were really sub-standard and most of the songs for Intervision were quite good, and the winner sublime. Enough to annoy the living spirit out of me.
Jari got stuck in a meeting and had no time for evening tea, so I had to drink it on my own, but I hope to see him tomorrow anyway. I have CD:s for him.
And next stop is Dreamland. Hope to see you all there.
